Sajeeva Yoga teacher training immerses you in a strong and spiritually infused practice for one month and equips you with the knowledge and skills to inspire and lead amazing classes. Our training will expand your horizons physically, mentally, and spiritually. Yoga is the science and art of self development and self-realisation. Sajeeva school specializes in Hatha-Vinyasa based yoga while uncovering the entire science of the yogic system in all forms of practices. Ample time is also spent practicing and studying pranyama breathing practices, chanting, and meditation. Our course is also enriched with AcroYoga & Capoeira sessions and includes Level 1 Reiki Certification!
You will learn and experience:
-Classic flows like surya namaskar and many other sequences for specific energy activation or opening the body
-Asana technique & alignment, cues, using props, assisting and adjustments
-Breathing practices for balancing and raising the energy capacity
-Concentration and meditation practices for relaxation, yoga nidra, star breathing, chakra breathing, harmonizing and healing, and awakening your intuitive senses
-The history and philosophy of Yoga from classical sources such as Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, and Hatha Yoga Pradipika
-Powerful mantra chanting that enrich your practice and understanding of the philosophy
-Yoga Anatomy, understanding the mechanics of the body, injury prevention, how to make balanced muscle recruitment in Asana, and the principles of using Asana therapeutically
-Wellness and nutrition covering all aspects of your lifestyle from the scientific to the traditional wellness arts of Ayurveda and Taoism
-How to work with the environment, yourself, and others energetically for creating more positive energy and healing through your awareness and connection
-Group and partner exercises for opening up the communication channels and embodying and processing experiences, past and present
-Special activities to open up your mind that incorporate partner work, art and drawing, sensory retreats, journaling, group discussion, acroyoga, capoiera and more
-How to teach structured, mindful, knowledgeable and inspiring yoga classes incorporating all aspects of practice
-Business of being a yoga teacher, getting you on the right track for marketing, networking, event creation, and managing a yoga teaching career
-Kirtans, a yoga singing gathering that elevates the spiritual mood in our hearts and souls
-A new depth to your practice whether it be in Asana, breath work, or the bliss of meditation
Our course meets and exceeds the Yoga Alliance requirements for the 200 hour level.
Students fulfilling the hours and meeting the requirements will be certified by the Sajeeva Yoga School as Hatha Vinyasa teachers and be able to register with the US Yoga Alliance as 200 hour teachers, the RYT-200 designation which will give you credibility to work in studios and centers all over the world.

Lead Teacher – George Anthony
George Anthony is the director of Sajeeva Yoga School. He has made yoga an intimate study in every aspect of his life since he began practicing yoga asana in 2006. He started from an innate urge to change something while feeling unfilled in university. Using pictures and descriptions of yoga poses from the internet, he worked hard and transformed from an unmotivated American college student to become a dedicated Yogi, teacher, and uplifting person. He set out with intentions to realize his potential, share yogic picesract, healthy lifestyle, and a perspective of one-ness.
In 2008 George moved to Thailand, and became certified as a Vinyasa yoga teacher in 2009 at highly acclaimed Yoga Elements Studio, Bangkok. After, he taught extensively in Y.E.S. and other Bangkok studios, wrote course materials and assisted in the G-Mind yoga teacher training courses, organized retreats, taught at numerous resorts, private homes, yoga festivals, suburban healing spaces, and public parks all over South East Asia. In 2012 he wrote the course manual for Vikasa Yoga School and became resident assistant teacher for Vikasa Yoga teacher trainings. After several years working on the course he started Sajeeva Yoga so he could share more of his approach towards practice and mindfulness in the Sajeeva Yoga TTC and now travels the world conducting trainings and retreats.
George has taught over 10,000 hours and is highly regarded as a genuine yoga teacher. He is friendly and approachable with a nothing-too-serious attitude for sharing the joy and calm of Yoga with his students while also actively guiding them towards what works and sighting out what doesn’t.
George lives as a yogi with regular practice and meditation, on-going scriptural and self study, compassion based lifestyle, and acts of service. George has trained hundreds of teachers in Thailand. He is valued for his innocent nature, the clarity of his teachings, and attention to details in practice and philosophy. Assisstant Teacher – Scott Cioffi
I first approached yoga at 16 years old to increase my flexibility for my competitive martial arts practice. Though I continue enjoying the gifts of yoga on the physical level, it is with the mind and spirit that I’ve been most rewarded.
The cleaning of your inner and outer body, and the meditation of yoga yields deep evolution and insight that point towards something greater, more profoundly wise and loving. Yoga helps me to feel closer to myself, to others, and to the universe.
Before sharing yoga, I was a personal trainer for 10 years, lovingly helping clients achieve the outer body of their dreams, and doing my best to help them fall a little more in love with themselves on the inside. Through Yoga, my focus has evolved to a more powerful transformation, and in early 2014 I moved to Thailand studying yoga more full-time, and got teacher certified to deeply help students move from their heart, exploring their bodies and spirit from inside out. I consider it incredibly important to balance the yin/yang (female/male) energies in our bodies, our lives, and our spirit. This balance manifests in my classes (much like my personal practice) in a combination of passionate, strong, challenging flows, combined with long, deep, therapeutic practice to release the most tight, or injured areas. After the excess energy is burned off, we usually enter meditation and/or pranayama.
Helping people, having fun, and spreading love drives me. If its more work than play, you’re probably doing it wrong. Students find my classes powerful, insightful, energetic, playful, and loving. I’m grateful for the connection with each of my students, and I can’t wait to connect with you!

A tropical gem in the Gulf of Thailand that is well known for its yoga scene and night life, and also as a quiet get away, and spiritual seekers tribal center. Koh Phangan is surrounded by crystal waters and covered in lush green jungles.
Loyfa Natural Resort is found on the west coast of the island with a private beach front and amazing sunset view. Locates in Sri Thanu, one of Koh Phangan’s most favorite spots for Yogis immersing in new experiences, amazing raw, vegan, and organic foods from numerous restaurants, and meeting like-minded heart open people from around the world.
The rooms run from the beach up to the crest of the hill and you have several options for various budget including shared room with your friend or partner or if possible, shared room with another student in the course coordinated by us.
